The abandonment

This photograph is simply stunning. The first thing that caught my attention were the intense colors of the magenta flowers against the lighter, softer colors in the picture. The composition is very demiurgic- love it!

My favorite element of this photograph is the concept. The title "Abandonment" is perfect to me. One thing about my taste in photography is that I love photographs that get the imagination running, to invent a story behind the picture (after all, a picture is worth 1,000 words!).

In my eyes, it looks like the decaying, yet still beautiful, memory of a girl who was in love, but her affections were abandoned, heartbroken. The flowers surrounding her face and glazed eyes almost seem like small recompenses or simple signs of remorse for her tragedy.

Overall, this is a sublime photograph and has fantastic elements of composition, color, and of course, concept. Excellent work! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h…" width="15" height="13" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="357" title="Heart"/>
